the jr. prom is in april. is an all red formal dress ok or should i go buy another one in a spring color? what color shoes could i wear with the red? black? silver? red?

Red is a good color for a prom dress. You can wear whatever color you want. It doesn't have to be a spring color. You should accessorize well and get a cute clutch in red or to match the color of your shoes. I would definitely NOT go with black shoes. You don't want two dark colors. I would go with white, silver, or even nude (tan) . Have Fun!!!

An all red prom dress is fine!!! You can wear whatever you want, and make it work just by being confident!!! I would probably wear some silver shoes with it, but it depends on your jewelry and accessories. If you wear gold jewelry, don't wear silver shoes. I hope you have a great time at your prom, and show that red dress off with confidence honey!! ;)

red is more than fine, actually thats the color that i wore to my prom, is it short or long?coz depending on that u choose the shoes.
If the dress is short i recomend u a pair of red tall hills, and if it is long, the shoes wont really matter because nobody would be able to see them!lol. But in this case, i would wear bronze shoes with the same color purse.

I think red is a good color besides you know that a lot of girls will be getting pastel colors and red will make you shine!!! I think you should get black shoes because black looks good with red and it also goes good with other things too so you could wear them later on for other things besides prom!!

There's nothing wrong with a red dress for your prom. It's your prom. Wear what you want. I would wear silver shoes. My step-daughter wore the same thing you are planning for my wedding, and she's like 5 or 6 years younger than you. She looked gorgeous and I was proud to have her stand with me. You will be gorgeous, too!

Red dresses are hot anytime of year! I prefer silver, but only because reds are so hard to match, and you can reuse the silver.
