I took my little boy to Cancun last December. We all had a blast. My husband and I sipped cocktails while my son played in the pool with other kids. It was just gorgeous.

The best place of beautiful Mexico is East Los Angeles or Tijuana, Mexico.
Fantastic live shows.
All historic buildings and people are very friendly from Tijuana.
Tijuana is an historic place to go eat out and enjoy the surroundings.

i don't agree with last comment. Take them to the coast. My preference is Puerto Vallarta. And also, my husband is from Mexico and his whole family meets in mansanillo once a year. The karmina Palace is awesome for children. They have shows everynight, it's all inclusive, they have a kids club, and a little private beach where the waves don't get to big. I think the site is www.karminapalce.com

wow. Mexico...mi segunda casa. lol. well see that depends... because if you have kids that love the beach/pools then Cancun is nice but Puerto Vallarta is very nice or Guayabitos. The food is better in P.V but the pools are heated and bigger in Guayabitos. Now if you want more like the U.S.A go to Guadalajara. Oh and i would so go to a soccer game if i chose Guad. Their staduim is awesome...as well as the Destricto Federal...um....i dont recomend that one as much...it's not as "Safe" really. There are so many beautiful places to visit in Mexico it just all depends on you taste in sites. Also if you kids are not infants or cant stay still. I so totally Recomend that you go by car...i love it when my parents do that. its 3 days from where we are. but its worth it...get to talk to eachother...see all these different states. Aww...now ur making me wanna go right now lol.

It depends how old are they. When I was about 8, I loved archaeological sites. I used to run up and down the pyramids. Go to the Yucatan peninsula, but be cautious with the heat. It is pretty warm and humid there.

Tepetongo is the happiest place on earth! And it is very close to the Monarch Butterfly Sanctuary. Incredibly underrated.
There is no better place for kids. And families in general.
