Foo Fighters are great, but they never produced like one amazing album. However these are some great songs that

Foo Fighters, Offspring, Rise Against, Blink 182, Sum 41, Green Day, Social Distortion and Bad Religion are more punk but they have awesome songs too... There are too many to mention and I can't think right now

audioslave, soundgarden, rage against the machine, red hot chili peppers. Also you might like the band NOFX they are kinda punk but they are really good listen to something from Wolves in Wolves Clothing. Also Me first And the Gimme Gimmes are really good. If you want anything else just ask
