socialism is an economic system in which "the means of producing and distributing goods is owned collectively or by a centralized government that often plans and controls the economy." In modern societies, socialism often attempts to eradicate class divisions. While the word "socialism" is sometimes used interchangeably with "communism," the two aren't the same -- communism is a more extreme form of socialism

Communism advocates the "collective ownership of property and the organization of labor for the common advantage of all members." While communism is first and foremost an economic system, it's also a political ideology that rejects religion. And just as communism is a form of socialism, Marxism, Maoism, and Leninism are branches of communism.

Like socialism and communism, fascism uses a central authority to maintain control, but "terror and censorship" are common. It results from economic failure in democratic political systems. Interestingly, while socialism and communism are both on the left end of the political spectrum, fascism contains elements of both "left and right ideology" and rises from economic collapse. The most famous fascist was Italian dictator Benito Mussolini.

Capitalism is a social system based on the recognition of individual rights, including property rights, in which all property is privately owned. Under capitalism the state is separated from economics (production and trade), just like the state is separated from religion. Capitalism is the system of of laissez faire. It is the system of political freedom.

Because fascism and socialism/communism are polar opposites. Fascists believe certain nations, people, etc are naturally superior to others. Socialists, on the other hand, believe in full equality.

The Nazi party was a right-wing party. There were 5 main parties in 1930s Germany. These were the left-wing Communist Party, the left of center Social Democrat Party, the right of center Catholic Centre Party, and the right-wing Nationalists and Nazi Parties.

The Nazis banned the Communist Party after blaming them for the Reichtag fire and they banned the Social Democrat Party after it was the only party to vote against Hitler's Enabling Act. The Nazis formed an alliance with the other three.

Fascism seeks to mobilize a certain people, race or ethnicity above all others. Militarism, authoritarianism, nationalism, and anti-liberalism are usually coalesced into this ideology.

Communism is the polar opposite of fascism and is an ideology that sees the government and means of production controlled by the proletariat or working class. Communism sees capitalism as the cause of much suffering, racism, and poverty. This ideology is usually characterized by a one party system with a planned economy. However some modern countries that claim to subscribe to "communism" are in the midst of switching to a capitalist economy. China, being one example.

Socialism refers to a broad array of doctrines and beliefs that see property and means of production as capital that should be owned collectively by society or exercised by the state on behalf of the people. Many European countries claim to be "socialist democracies", in which the state has a free healthcare and education system.

Fascism: an authoritarian political ideology and mass movement that seeks to place the nation, defined in exclusive biological, cultural, and historical terms, above all other loyalties, and to create a mobilized national community

Communism: an ideology that seeks to establish a classless, stateless social organization based on common ownership of the means of production.

Socialism: refers to a broad array of doctrines or political movements that envisage a socio-economic system in which property and the distribution of wealth are subject to social control.

At least those are the "definitions". Doesn't sound like too much of a difference between the few, except that fascists have a dictator. Don't they all though, really?

communism gets rid of individuality, and doesn't care about religion at all. Fascists use religion as a tool to gather followers, and they glorify the party above all. All that matters is loyalty to the party
