On Scrubs, Judy Reyes is 8 years older than Donald Faison, but are their characters 8 years apart?

They are approximately 6 or 7 years apart.
"Turk is the best friend of the series's protagonist, J.D, and former college roommate of J.D., too. He is an attending surgeon at Sacred Heart Hospital, where the series takes place, and is married to Carla Espinosa, one of the nurses. His birth probably took place somewhere around 1976, as he first left for college in 1993/1994."
"Carla is a nurse who works at Sacred Heart Hospital, in which the main action of the show takes place... It is revealed in Season 5 that she is 36, which suggests that she was born in 1969 or 1970."

I like the fact that the Scrubs cast is not overly gorgeous. They are attractive people, but they are also attainable people. In that you could see yourself hanging out with them because they are average looking. I don't think Dr. Cox is very attractive, but I like his character. Carla is a ***** sometimes because the writer of the show wrote her in that way, and apparently she does a pretty good job acting. I think her character just takes the characteristics of a typical type of woman. I love the whole cast and I don't think they could do any better.

I don't think so, I think it's probably closer. I know Carla's been there a lot longer than Turk, but Med school takes a lot longer than nursing.

definitely not. i remember when the show started, she was a new nurse when they were new at sacred heart hospital. and also, theyre getting married--i'm sure they have never said anything about there being a significant age difference.

If they are, does it matter? I am seven years older than my husband. We still mesh, as do they.
