do no longer use the BagBalm it has a terrible flavor that may turn a infant off Breast feeding and it stings. it rather is meant for cows. one hundred% Lanolin must be used for persons. It would not might desire to be washed off till now feeding. A heat moist cloth on her breast will sense great. heat bathe ect. She shouldn't use cleansing soap on her breasts suited now. this is going to dry the exterior greater. Breast pads might nicely be offered at any drug keep and that they each and every each and every now and then will carry greater suitable lanolin against the sore nipples. severe inflammation might nicely be relieved with specific breast pads made up of silicon that ward off touch with the nipple. i've got faith the kind call is Lilly. If she merely gave beginning on Tuesday a definite volume of tenderness is regular and it will boost. If she is engorged(breasts rather rather finished). Cabbage leaves can releave engorgement. Engorgement will ease presently. If her breasts are too finished the infant won't be latching good and it may help to pump a small volume till now latching the infant. ultimately combating lower back with the Lactation representative may be a sturdy theory. If the infant isn't latching good it may reason nipple injury that takes a rapid time to heal.

my cousin had both her nipples pierced when she was a teen and now she's a mom. She nursed her first son and now is nursing her 4 month old. The only thing she said was that the milk does squirt out of the holes where the piercings are. FYI it has to be said and no disrespect to you but there are some stupid people out there make sure you take out the ring before nursing!!!

it's perfectly safe to breastfeed with pierced nipples, you just need to make sure you REMOVE the piercings before you nurse, and then clean them thoroughly before putting them back in to avoid any infection which could interfere with breastfeeding. I would not recommend getting them pierced if you are already pregnant however because if you get a severe infection as a result it can result in preterm labor.

You can still breastfeed if you have pierced nipple, just take the piercing out before you feed the baby.

If the piercing is already healed it is not a problem. If it is not completely heeled and has puss or crust on the jewelery then no. Talk to your doctor. I had mine pierced and the doctor told me that.

Don't you think it would hurt you? I mean, think about it....some babies really eat fast, suck hard, can you imagine the suction affect he/she could have on your nipple? ...with a piercing?
