Not usually -- I may have done it once when I was about 2 points away from reaching Level 4. Normally I look for questions that are interesting or fun.

Some questions are so messed up that nobody could ever understand them. I always answer these by thanking them for the two points.

I'm sure you're not alone. I haven't done that but I have left ridiculous answers to ignorant questions.

I usually don't answer a question unless it catches my interest or unless I can come up with a decent response.

One time I answered that I didn't know and "thanks for the 2 points." I got reported for abuse and my comment was deleted.
