well theres probobly several ways to do it. The first would be to ensure you have a secure password. Like capital letters numbers and special charicters like !@#...also change it often. also ebay will never ask for credit info so beware of that as well or your password ...

Just a comment:

I would highly suggest not creating a passphrase from a password generator online (attackers can crack those) instead I'd suggest you learn how to create a secure passphrases using ordinary dice see this page for the diceware method:

Don't click on any e-mails claiming to be from ebay asking
for your personal details or give your credit card number
for verification that's not how they operate.

Make your password extra strong, dont settle for password123
go with P@55w0rd!@3
dont reply to emails asking for you to log into your account, banking details commonly known as phishing.
