hi zacinnic! as long as u have all ur music/videos saved in itunes, u might want to restore ur ipod to the factory settings and it will be as fast as the day you first got it! http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=60983

u can waste a lot of time trying different things to get ur ipod to run faster, so in my opinion the restore is the best solution if u feel like it's really running slow. if u do go for the restore, make sure ur ipod is fully charged before starting the restore.

once u get ur ipod running fast again, please subscribe to my FREE video podcast on iTunes: http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=183309259

good luck!

Maby your iPod is messed up, because i have never heard of an iPod getting "SLOW". Maby your just not used to using the iPod 5th generation. They have alot more stuff in them than other iPods so that may cause them to run a little bit slow.
