Yes, if you buy a banana, you're funding terrorism. Chiquita Brands International made payments to paramilitary groups which have been classified as terrorist organizations. So if you bought Chiquita bananas, particularly around 2003, you helped fund terrorism.

Chiquita's agreement with the U.S. Department of Justice was to pay 25 million dollars. As it happens, Chiquita made about $98 million during this period, so the fine was 25 percent of their revenue.

So Chiquita is part of the "Axis of Evil". And so are you. You owe 25 percent.

The word "terrorist" was also synonymous with "frenchfries"(freedom fries) at one point in time. Personally I think its a great source of protein but I wouldn't put it past GWB to try and outlaw bananas or at the very least refer to them as freeanas.

Coconuts are a really threatening fruit.... not as bad as blueberries though...they are the real mean ones. Sometimes, when they are in a bunch they get really loaded and mess places up! I tell you blueberries should be banned because of their terrorist tendencies. I don't know much about Coconuts but thanks for the heads up, we will add them to the CIA watchlist.

A similar question was posed when the story broke. The bottom line is they got caught in a protection racket just like many clubs, restaurants, ma and pa stores etc in our cities.

Would you rather they let their employees be shot or hacked up with machete's by the rebels? I wouldn't and fining them for protecting their employees is criminal.

I really dont think anyone is going to hold it against you for eating bananas. besides, bananas have a high reputation for being high in potassium, and in my parents grocery store, we sell a lot of bananas to a lot of senior citizens. So... I think its safe for you to keep eating your bananas.

Come on, you can do more for our country by becoming more informed.

If you are referring to the Chiquita company scandal....they are not the only company that supplies banana's to this country (or is that their only product). Try buying another brand.
