The war on drugs seems to have no effect on the drug dealers because prohibited drugs are everywhere. The taxes for this budget against drugs is inutile.

I know for a fact drugs are quite, quite accessible (not that I partake myself, let's just say I know a guy that knows a guy ;P). I believe the war on drugs is making it that much easier, really. People find excitement in things that are forbidden. People know that they can make a profit from it as well. For example, the most accessible drug I know of would be marijuana. At let's say $10 for a dimebag, and a good flow of customers, you could make a pretty penny. The danger factor adds to the excitement. You know, the thrill of getting away with something. I'm not all too knowledgable about history, but I do remember a thing or two from high school. Remeber the ban on alcohol? How well did that work? Didn't, did it? I believe drugs are in the same situation. Plus, the popularity of drugs keeps on climbing, with curious younger generations easily accessing information on the who has what. Ok, so after writing this little novel, I will conlcude... The war on drugs is having no effect on drug usasge. Thank you, goodnight ^.^

The war on drugs has done nothing to stem the flow of drugs. In fact drugs are probably a hundred times more accessible than they were in the 1970's when I was a teenager.

And it seems kids younger and younger are getting addicted.

Is the war on drugs working is another question though?....If there were no war on drugs, how much worse would the drug problem be than it is now? If the answer to that question is "little or no worse", then we need to seriously rethink the war on drugs.

The only things the war on drugs is doing is stuffing our prisons with people charged with victimless crimes, costing us billions of dollars in tax dollars a year, and keeping urine-testing companies in heavy business. If anything decreases harmful drug use amongst Americans, its witnessing other Americans on harmful drugs. Me and my friends could have smoked ourselves stupid on crack growing up, but we didn't. Not because of the "police" or the "drug war" but because we watched people get into the stuff and go into ruin very quickly. Common education (not propaganda or fear mongering) is the best tool we have. People are too smart to follow the age-old crap we've been fed for so long.

Drugs affect multiculturally and do not show mercy to no one in the worlds community .The drug world fuels terror as well in society creating fear where fear should not be shown .Political views or laws should not stop the fight on drugs as they are stoping the drug dealer from being caught or shot as the drug dealer commits two murders one is physical murder and pyschological and government made drugs is destroying lives as well as the drugs in the streets which came from government made labs .Ecstasy should be feed force feed back to government as it is the government who destroyed the childern of society as well with there desiner drugs. You see there are corrupt people who work in hospitals who feed the people of society drugs which are promoted by drug companies which look the money before health of people .Evil intentions create sickness to make money as well.In america people are used as lab experiments to test drugs and american society is so commercial that its becoming sick through addictions of all .The one of america's scientists son's is anti drug and is a expert herbalist in natural medicines and i also believe that the amazon and south america's and parts of the worlds rain forest should not be touched as they hold the key to healthy body and the amazon is the lungs of the world.Good luck to all and keep up the fight you freedom fighters of the free world.
