blood is red. In your veins it is a darker red due to the lower level of oxygen, but still red. Looks blue through skin, colored blue in medical diagrams...but its red. The misconception that it is blue until it "hits the air" is just not true. Ever gotten blood taken? thats an air tight syringe they are taking your blood with....ever seen a blue blood draw? Didn't think so.
