Um this is embarrasing. Ok I just started using tampons and I am a virgin, it was ok when I put in like the first 3 but now it hurts pretty bad to put them in. Why is that? any suggestions?

Try alternating pads and tampons until you get used to tampons. You may be just too dry and the friction is causing you to be uncomfortable.

Ok, I'm a virgin too, and I started using tampons like on my 3rd period. I know what you are thinking..."My hymen popped, OMG!" Ok, that's not the case, your uh, (you know) is just irritated from putting them in, and you are at a slightly uncomfortable angle while insertion. Try sitting a 180 degree angle, and then putting the tampon in, always works for me.

-Hope I helped, and good luck with the pain-

If all three were for the same period, you're probably just drying up down there. You might need to use a slimmer tampon for those lighter days at the end of your flow, or switch back to a light pad.

I have the same problem. It is actually because you aren't used to having something in that area. Try looking for skinnier tampons, or using feminine napkins.

I am not a girl, but you may be changing them too often and getting too dry inside. Use a water soluble lubricant like KY jelly on the third one and see if it helps. You can only make so much natural lube at your age. Drink lots of water too.

i tend to use a combination of sanitary towels and tampons, usually on my 3rd day of a period it becomes lighter and the vagina feels dry thus causing slight discomfort when removing. Try using towels instead of tampons when it causes you discomfort.

Unless you go swimming, try pad instead. You will have years of wearing them later in life and you don't want to get the chance to get Ryes Disease from them. Personally, if it hurts, don't use it.

Not knowing your age I am unsure how to answer, but I will assume you are of an age to experience your menstrual cycles. One possibility is vaginal dryness, over use, not inserting properly. My advice when experiencing pain in this manner, is to seek advice from your gynecologist!
