I have heard that dark eyes are the dominant color. I have blue eyes and my husband has brown eyes, and our son has brown eyes (my husband is Mexican).

The male carries the dominant gene. So I would count on hazel eyes. Most babies are born with blue eyes until after the baby is a few months old, so even though the baby might be born with blue eyes, chances are the baby's eye color will change.

Well blue is the more dominant color so maybe blue. I know my eyes are hazel and my husbands are blue, and our daughters eyes are blue.. But there is also a chance of Green or Brown.. You never can tell untill the baby is here and has had a chance to develope there color..

You have to look at the genes from the grandparents, which created the dominant and recessive genes for each parent. Obviously, with you having blue eyes, your parents each had the blue recessive gene, giving you the blue. If one of your husband's parents had blue eyes, it's possible that your baby will have blue eyes. But, like I said, check the color of each grandparent. It's more than likely less than 25% chance of blue eyes, though. Hope this helps!!

Hazel is dominant so probably hazel. However, my husband has brown eyes and I have hazel. Our daughter has blue/gray eyes. My dad had blue eyes until he was 7, my sister had them until she was 5. Theirs both changed to hazel. My husbands dad had blue eyes his whole life and one of his brothers has blue eyes. So I guess we both have a blue eyes gene somewhere in us and my daughter got blue eyes.

Your baby can have any color eyes that anyone on either side of the family has. My eyes are dark hazel, my boyfriend's are dark brown, and our baby has my mom's blue eyes. Look at the eye colors of all four grandparents, and both parents. Any one is just as likely as the other.

I would guess hazel, but I have hazel, my husband has brown, and our daughter has the deepest blue eyes. All my family have brown or hazel, execpt for my grandpa, and all of my husbands family have brown.

most likely hazel, but if your husband has a recessive gene for blue eyes, then you could have a blue-eyed baby.

Possibly hazel or green......the dark color is always dominant over light. Since hazel and blue is almost the same shade kinda sorta thats why I say green or the color you have.

Your children will either have blue or hazel eyes. The only way they could have brown is if one of the parents have brown.
