My hubby and I had "relations" while I was on my monthly. It was unprotected and..well you know....anyway, I have been having symptoms lately (sensitive to smells, mood swings, exaustion, tummy upset, forgetful!!!). I have been chalking it all up to stress, but the more I think about it, I havn't felt this way since I was pregnant with my daughter. I took a test last week and it came out negative, but it's also early. What are the chances of being pregnant for me??

Hi there. Honey is it very unlikely that you are pregnant. I know that there have been cases of women getting pregnant while they were menstruating but it is very, very reare and it happens to women who have very short cycles and ovulation dates that are really all over the place.
I won't say it can not happen because anything is possible. I heard a story of a woman who got pregnant from being in a hot tub....figure that one out!
Take care and I hope you get the answers you want.

A girl mainly ovulates 14-15 days after the primary day of her interval. So approximately per week after your interval is over. The simplest means you'll be able to get pregnant is whilst your frame ovulates. Sperm can are living within the frame for up tp 10 days, if stipulations are correct. A white, slimy discharge is a signal of ovulation.

All your symptoms that you mention could also explain your period coming on.
THere is a little chance you could be pregnant but you might be anxious or stressing about it and that could be messing with your period also.
I think you have a 50% chance of being pregnant.
Just try to be patient and wait another week or two and take a home pregnancy test.
I know with me, it takes up to 3 weeks before it shows positive on a test.

There is always a chance of being pregnant.. Just give it another week or two and take another pregnancy test.. Are you late for your monthly? If not then for sure give it longer.. Or go and have a blood test done with your doctor..

It is rare for women to get pregnant while on their period, especially if they have a regular cycle. Stress can cause women to have pregnancy symptoms, especially if they are hoping (Or not wanting) to be prengant. Wait to see if your next period starts. some women have spotting with ovulation so they may think that they are having another period. Some women have cycles that are so messed up that they never know when they are fertile. That is why women should never have unprotected sex if they are not wanting to get pregnant.

You're not pregnant. My boyfriend and I always do that when I'm on my period, and I have always get those same symptoms. Your body can have realistic symptoms due to paranoia. It's actually extremely common. It's damn near impossible to get pregnant while on your period, and you really have nothing to worry about. Your most fertile time is about two weeks after the end of your period, and its only for about 24 hours-3 days. Don't worry.

its possible you could be pregnant but theres also the chance that something else is going on like an ovarian cyst or maybe a thyroid imbalance, these kinds of things can actually mimick pregnancy signs. give yourself a couple weeks then take another test. even if it's still negative you might want to see your doc.

Pretty good. Wait until you miss the next month to take another test. or get the test that "tells you as early as 5 days" or something like that. But stress can do all of those things to you also.

it is very rare to get pregnant with the ongoing periods(monthly) seems you are not pregnant but if you still doubt, then wait till due date for period if it didnt happen then check out for pregnancy after the 50-60 day from your 1st day of the last period you had, you will get the answer to your question

It's possible — but highly unlikely. You'd have to have a very short menstrual cycle, which is the time from the first day of one period to the first day of the next period, or a tendency to have long periods. This would bring the time of ovulation closer to the time when you would start bleeding.
