The people that work at the fast food does not put ketchup in the packets The ketchup packets are shipped from a ompany and it is all done by machine the machine grabs an empty packet wrapper fills it by injecting a small tube and fills it with ketchup then it goes to another machine to be sealed shut then they go along this Conveyor belt to be put into boxes

A main manufacturer is a company called Portion Pack. All the work is done by huge machinery which fills everything from ketchup to BBQ sauce to my favorite, honey mustard sauce. I included a link to pictures of the machinery. Pass the ketchup.

Wow... someone told me that retired Munchkins from the Wizard of Oz were in the backroom filling those ketchup packets daily. I believed it for a moment or two.

it is processed at the plant that way,, two rows of sides get pressed and the ketchup squirts in and it is sealed and cut in a blink of a eye,, watch how things are made ,on the discovery channel it has alot of good info on it
