Okay, I am around a week late for my period. I am sexually active and went off the pill about 2 months ago, but have been religiously using condoms since, and my bf also pulls out. Last month period was at the right time, but now its late. I took a test yesterday and it said negative. Could this just be irregularity?

yes it can just be irregularity because you're sexual active, that actually use to happen to me before. That problem will fix on its own and to make sure you should repeat a home pregnancy test within 2 Weeks if it don't come. Most likely by then you should know the real answer. If you miss your period for a straight month then you should go to the clinic and have further testing done. Sometimes late periods can mean changing that are happening to your body because you introduced it to sex, sometimes females are a week earlier or later than usual. It all depends on your body. Good luck.

I have the same problem... I am late by 1-2 days now, and we ALWAYS wear a condom with spermicide and he pulls out. I'm really not sure what is going on, but one of my best friends was just a week late, so it may be irregularity. I wish you luck! I know exactly how you are feeling, and it's a very scary situation! GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!

After stopping birth control it takes a womans body two to four months to regulate. If the test came up negative then I dont think you have anything to worry about. it's probably just an irregularity from stopping the pill.

Could be that you're just late, but condoms and pulling out are not very effective forms of birth control. btw, when I was pregnant with my daughter, I took about 6 home pregnancy tests, and they all came out negative!

The only way to know is to wait a few more days and take another test. There really is no other way to find out, unless you went to get bloodwork done and that would be more time consuming that just waiting it out.
