I have windows XP and am using IE. I'm sure it has something to do w/my security settings but I don't know what to do. This always happens w/ links in my emails, but only happens sometimes w/ links on "regular" sites.

Do you have a program called "Pop-Up Stopper Free Edition" ? It would be a little hand with a pointer finger, (the one that shows when u about to click on a link) I have it.. and its about the best pop up blocker ever. it blocks anything that opens up a new page thats not on the original IE page you have open. Which could be links opening a new page. When you do it.. it wuld have a Red Circle with a line crossed out, something around those lines.. all u have to do is double click the little hand down at the bottom right corner next to the clock. and it will turn it off..

Do you have security software or parental blocks, like norton anti virus? Mine use to do that if I had the settings too high.
