Timors max out around 2 feet. They're arborial and will love stuff for climbing, but two I knew were just as likely to spend the day camped out under their water dish. But when they decide to move, they will MOVE! Good jumpers as well.

If you have a spare 55, that would be a fair size for one - a 75 or 90 would be better, depending on what you've got on hand. The two above had a big square water dish (supposedly for soaking), but they hardly ever did. Kept the humidity up and gave them a hide at the same time, though.

Timor Monitors only get to about 2 feet long. A 20 gallon long would do but if you want, you can go to larger.

A 20 gallon?? You have to be kidding. That's a friggin' jail cell. 20 gallons are for hatchlings, and for Anoles and Geckos.

It needs a nice size screened in terrarium/reptarium, at least 75 gallon or larger, with plenty of vertical space if you want to make it happy.
