Should someone write to MTV studios asking why they no longer play music?

I think someone autta write to MTV asking why they don't play music much anymore. I hadn't watched the channel in over 5 to more years and notice on the tv guide all there is punk music and shows like, "Sweet 16" and stuff. I tell you what ever happened to the good ol' days? The days MTV, CMT and other music channels actually played more music than ever. Now all you see is movies, films, shows and about half of music on everyday to none. Music fulfills us, not these shows and stuff. Anyone see my point I am trying to get acrossed?

Blame teenagers of today. MTV's audience is comprised of mostly teens. Today's teens would rather see spoiled rotten little bitches have sweet 16 parties and young alcoholics having orgies in the real world house rather than watch music videos.
MTV's only showing what there's a demand for...as sad as that demand is.

You know...my wife and I were discussing this the other day. I betcha many younguns' have no clue that the 'M' in MTV stands for Music! I have a feeling that the fake 'reality' shows pull in a larger audience than just music videos (like in the '80's). I can't stand those shows, but my 13 yr. old daughter loves them. (It's the end of civilization as we know it). :(

I HATE MTV!! They are totally useless to me, and don't try tellng me to try MTV2, coz I don't wanna. I mean for craps sake, at least play a couple hours a day of videos. Squash them like a bug.

nicely, sure, the bible replace into written almost 2 millenia in the past. people have a tendency to argue approximately even if or no longer the bible is precise. besides the fact that if, people may additionally argue even if or no longer MTV performed song.

Even when they did play videos, they would only play videos produced by Viacom.
