He had been addicted to pain killers but had overcame those addictions 4 years earlier.Your body though doesn't forget.So it was a mixture of the painkillers, and the steroids He did die of an enlarged heart as well as the veins had shrivled up due to the drug abuse including steroids.

I think the roids pushed him over the edge. Maybe some drugs and alcohol contributed.
He was tiny in WCW. Then he shows and has a ton of muscle. Roid baby.
You know who else was a lot smaller in WCW? Rey Mysterio. He's still small, but he showed up on WWE with way more muscle than he ever had before.

He died in his sleep when his heart failed. His heart was enlarged from years of Alcohol and drug abuse, even though he had been clean for 2 years, but he couldn't undo the damage that had already been done.

but mr. kennedy smash him in the head with a chair because kennedy was disqualified and lost a match with eddie. eddie past away a few days after this script.

overdozed by Steroids!! all wrestlers are taking Steroids for a better body...but then Eddie taked too many and died in his hotel room in Minnesota...we miss you Eddie!!!

I think it was cuz of a heart attack. It was such a shock. I never expected someone so lively and hilarious to die

he died of a heart attack it was caused by his enlarged heart and the use of the drug hgh 4 years ago he died in november of 05

it was a failed heart, because of the steroid abuse he took about 4 years ago before he died. the steroids still affected his heart.
