Next time you wash your cake pan; Don't! cake pans are tin and will rust easily, you can use this idea meanwhile to remove the rust, Remove rust by dipping a raw potato in cleaning powder and scouring.

Just line your cake tin with Tin foil or dust your cake tin with cake mix then it will just fall out of the tin when inverted on a cake plate and there will be no need to wash this tin just wipe out with a lightly moistened paper towel and dry with dry paper towel that's it; it won't rust anymore

The best thing to do is get a good quality set of pans that won't rust, until then you can wipe a little bit of cooking oil on the pan after drying to keep it from rusting. The other thing you can do is put them in a warm oven to help them dry completely before putting them away.

Use foil to line your cake pans in, this way it keeps that rust from getting on your cake, which gives it the most horrible taste, and it is easy to clean up. Don't use abrasive cleaners is also another thing. I had the same problem till I started doing this. Now I have no more rust problem and no more yuckie cake.

purchase those mini cascade dishwasher tabs. Add hot water to the sink with tab and small amount of dish washing soap. Dawn foam recommended. You must wear gloves. let pans soak for 5-10 min. Scrub pans well rinse with hot water and towel dry immediately.
