Yes, it is. No matter how old you are it's abuse. Report this to the authorities if this is happening to you. Millions of people fall victim to physical and other kind of abuse, don't be one of those. Please if you or someone you know are victim of abuse call the police and get somewhere safe, a trusted family member or friend, maybe a neighbor.

Off the top of my head, I'd say yes. However --- if it's a brother or sister doing this, probably not, unless s/he's considerably older than you --- sibling fights happen, it's a part of life, and you'll all grow out of it... hopefully. Seriously bad relationships need to be dealt with, but if it's occasional, and you're fighting back, then I wouldn't worry too much.

If these are specifically disciplinary measures from a parent (a.k.a. you know when to expect them, they're not triggered by anger, they don't leave bruises or anything, and your parents are model parents otherwise), then probably not, although the wisdom of such measures is debateable.

If the hitting is from a parent or guardian and is triggered by anger (or drunkenness, or whatever), then yes, it's abuse, especially if it really hurts or leaves marks. In addition, if it's not from a parent, but a parent is sitting by and letting it happen, it's still abuse and it still needs to be dealt with. Good luck!

I think if it is a sister or brother doing it, it may happen to you at times, but not from an adult. I sure hope your parents aren't hitting you like this. Parents don't have kicking tendency, so if it is a sibling or friend, tell someone so it can be stopped. It is abuse, nonetheless. Get help,ok?

Sweet heart YES this is abuse and whom ever is doing this you need to make them stop. Tell another adult like ur mom or dad.if it is one of these that are hitting you then you need to tell someone else like your teacher.NO ONE but NO ONE has the right to touch you in anyway ..... You must tell some one that will help you and report it to social services. This ios not good ok............. Please go and get help if you sre scared it is ok becuase they are the ones who will be in trouble ok NOT YOU.

Sweetie it is abuse and no-one has the right to do so.the best thing for you to do is to go to someone outside of the house but in the family that you can trust , and that loves you dearly and ask them for help. Also pray because it does work if you believe in God Almighty.

P.S. Hope this helps and God Bless you, I'll also be praying for you . Be brave and strong, hold your head up and don't ever let no-one break your spirit.........

If you were just standing there minding your own bussiness and they backhanded you and kicked you for nothing, yes that is abuse. If they kicked a feild goal with you , yes.If they asked you to clean your room or do dishes and you got mouthy, then they have the right to discipline you if they are your parents. What did you do pray tell before you were back handed or kicked(by the way i do not agree with kicking unless its their butt).Did you cuss them or back talk them before they back handed you?
Be honest. If they are beatiing you black and blue and breaking bones, tell someone.

You need to find an adult you trust to talk to about this. If it is a family member doing this talk to a teacher or school counselor. Physical abuse is never a suitable punishment.

Yes, this is definitely abuse. If it's happening to you get help from a councellor, teacher, doctor, parent, close family.... anyone, If it's a friend tell their parents. Just tell someone and get help.
