We just sparked and knew each other. It was his brilliant white crooked smile, his butterblonde shoulder length curls. It was his sharp clear blue eyes. Heck it was the whole package that got my eye. After waiting for me to finish off an unsatisfactory relationship he came to me and made his declaration, not a small thing in his culture. It is a serious as marriage itself.
He cared for me. After a lifetime of men who used me or who were unworthy, at last a man who loved me warts and all. A man who wanted to take care of me and my daughters. A man who was brilliant and made me laugh. How can a woman not fall for such a man?
I was mesmerized within minutes. That was in September 1999. There is love at first sight when two souls recognize each other from another time. He and I had three previous lives together. Sadly we only had time to get married and have a very short time together before he was taken away in a sudden accident. January 2000 was a tough month.
Bit I am very very confident that he and I will meet again in our waltz through time. Then, we will have our time together as we were intended, Insh;allah.

I met my wife, while I was still married to my X, but my X was never home, all she wanted to do was travel and spend money, this went on every two weeks, and her last trip I told her not to come back, that I had went to see a lawyer and that I was divorcing her. The new wife never wants to go on any trips if she has to fly, so we don't get away very much, what attracted me to her, she was very tiny, and was not afraid of work, and she did not like wasting money

Honestly, it was the fact that we were both real about our relationship.
We never thought it was better than it was, nor did we assume it was going to be "true love 4eva" because that's what gets you in trouble.
We loved for each day.
Sure he makes me feel gorgeous, but we've also survived 4 years, 1.5 pregnancies, and a marriage. We never let ourselves get ahead of where we were. I love that.

We dated when he was 19 and I was 21. He moved 1000 miles away, I got married, he got married, I got divorced, he got divorced. . . he moved back 7 yrs after we last dated and the minute he got back to town his family called and "tricked" me into coming to their house(his mom, sister, and brothers always wanted us together). I went down thinking they needed my carpet scrubber. There he was sitting on the porch. He hugged me and told me he had missed me. Within 2 weeks he told me he loved me and always had. That was 18 months ago and we're getting married next spring. Somethings are just meant to be. I don't know if there was one thing that attracted me to him. I do know that in the 7 yrs he was gone I never really stopped thinking about him. If I had to narrow it down. . . the way I feel sooooooo safe when he wraps those big 'ol arms around me.

Awwww! Mine was one is a hundred-million...he spent years and lots of money to put in a lawn and develop it and make it perfect before I came along--and then tore it up so I could have a place for a vegetable garden...what a sacrifice! He gave up his yard, I gave up my heart....

My husbands green eyes (i love green eyes) and his personality. The first time we talked I felt like I was talking to my best friend. We had so much in common and our first kiss was perfect, 4 years later I'm wondering what happened LOL
