We have to forgive and forget that's just it. The Packers need randy moss i know that's hard to come to terms on but its true. Most (every) Packer fan hates randy moss mostly for one reason HE PLAYED FOR THE VIKINGS and yes i hate the vikings but its like they say, dont hate the player hate the game (vikings)

I have green and gold running through my veins and I say we get Randy Moss. He has said that he respects Favre and I believe that he would play well for him. The only reason he isn't doing anything in Oakland is because there is nothing going on there in the first place. I mean, if you are a good player but you know the team you're on isn't doing anything, chances are you wouldn't be very motivated to do much. If he came to the Packers he would have one of the rising young teams around him and a definite chance to go to the playoffs and even the Superbowl. As for the trade for Rodgers, I don't want that. Chances are this is big #4's last year and after that I'd rather have a QB step up who has atleast been with the club and know how things go. Rodgers can play, that's why he was supposed to be the #1 pick a few years ago. I'd rather see the Packers give the Raiders someone like Fergeuson and a 4th rounder for Moss. That would be fair to both sides.

What the Packers need is someone with the abilities of Moss but not the baggage and history that Moss has. He has great speed and hands but what he did to the team and city could never be forgiven. I was surprised that the Cowboys got T.O. after his "celebration" on the star and I hope that the Pack doesn't go after Moss because of the moon incident.

Ok, first off, personally I wouldn't mind seeing Moss here. As for your theory of Rogers being a career 2nd stringer, keep the following in mind:
1) he was drafted 2 years ago
2) He's behind Favre
3) Hasselbeck, Brunell, Brooks. All were "career second stringers" in Green Bay (OK, so brooks is a bad example but you get the point)

Well, I'm not a Packer fan, but I do live here in Wisconsin and I've gotta say, the people I know have split opinions on it.
1. They want him for Favre's last year only.
2. Keep him the hell out of Lambeau
3. "Eh, no thanks we have Driver, Jennings, Robinson, and Ferguson."
4. "Why don't we just draft Ted Ginn Jr?"
Personally, if I were a Packer fan, I'd have to go with the first one. Why not give Favre a great target for his last year (if this is his last year...)? I wouldn't want the guy on my team, but that's only because I'm a Panther fan, and that's a waste of cap room to do...but Packer fans have to get over what he did. He'll catch enough TDs to make up for it....maybe...

Brett wants him, and the fans as well as the Packer orginazation jump at whatever Brett says. Brett's the one who started the whole Moss to Green Bay talks. He also wanted T.O. last year. So at the end of the day, if Brett is ok with it, then Packer fans are ok with it. Personally, if it means when he throws the ball up to avoid a sack or to try and make a play and Moss can go up and get it and reduce Brett's INT's then I'm all for it. GO PACK

i would love his talent here in green bay. i believe he'd fit our system well. however he is not worth a first round pick or aaron rodgers. serously, the packers have not given rodgers enough chances and we were lucky to get him. indeed, he did piss away his few oportunities, but there werent many and he is young. moss is 30 now. a 2nd round pick at the highest, then maybe. trade ferguson and a draft pick for him.

i'm a Packer fan and hate the Jets even even if i have lived in enormous apple all my life. As disappointing it replaced into to verify Favre play elsewhere, i'm happy it replaced into the Jets. it really is going to be strong for him and the league.

Green Bay fans have a history of "forgiving" people.
No one complained about Koren Robinson, knowing he was probably going to get jail time.
If Moss gives Favre another option like he had with Walker, the Packer fans will forgive him immediatly.

Ugh...certainly 2 sides to this one. On one hand...I hate the guy and he just won't fit into the Green Bay community. It's a small town where they still believe that the players represent the city. On the other hand...it would sure be nice to have someone for Brett to throw to, who can actually CATCH the ball.
