I'm trying to use gradients right now, but I can't seem to make them look any good. Also, I can't really make them look 'shiny'.

Any solutions are welcome.

Thanks,

-David

I just answered your other question about making things look 'shiny', now to get that gold look you need to play with the colors. You should make an adjustment layer to the layer you just made shiny and pick a color that most closely matches what you are trying to get. You can also make a brand new layer above the 'shiny' one and create a gradient on that layer. Go through the visibility settings (it is on the top of the layer menu, the default option is normal) and cycle through them until you find one that works. For the gradient, use the correct color, blacks, white, and 1or2 shades of grey, dont make them too thick and play around with it. Good Luck.
