I'm 37 and they are coming out next week...I'm kinda scared....

Mine are still intact at age 32, however, even at this age, tonsils may need to come out at sometime. I don't have many throat problems. Glands swell, but never had to have tonsils removed. I guess you should count your blessings, they were taken at the young age of 3, when you have vivid memory of it, opposed to an adult, who is told, they need to have their tonsils out.

No. I had my tonsils removed last year when I was 37. I'm so glad I had them removed!

I still have mine and they are huge. The doctor thought they would cause problems with my swallowing but they're fine. I dont even think they're that big but everyone in the doctors office had to come in and look at them.
