Im new to flash MX, and I really need to learn how to animate without using that stupid auto animate! Yeah, Im a flashnoob, but I have a great Idea for a movie!!!!

Try using SwishMax, it's features are easier than Flash MX, at least I think so, because I've never used Flash MX before....

auto animate? you mean tween? Anyways, start by learning layers. Layers are like things that keep things away from each other, if you place a layer lower than one, the one above will be above in the stage. Press F6 to create a frame with the previous frame in it. Almost like a duplicate. Press F5 to create a non keyframe, you cannot put changes on this. Press F7 to create a blank keyframe.
