I really need to make some money and I'm a pretty talented artist. I like to paint and draw and I've already had 2 or 3 offers on one of my paintings in an exhibit. Is there any way I can make good money on this kind of thing and how should I go about doing it? thanks!

I am an artist, I do reverse painting on glass. I have been doing it for 20 years. To be honest with you this is not something that happens over night takes a lot of work but what i do is show at galleries, shops, do festivals and i have exhibits at my house but all these things take planning and investments also you are going to need a portfolio. That's important no one will even look at you're work if you don't have that. It's taken me many years to get where i am . I wish you luck and give you credit for wanting to try it's a tough business to be in.

if you really want to make money with art you have to do it in the corporate world. be a graphic designer or work in advertising. or illustration.

you won't make great money in the fine arts until you are dead. sad but true.
