Negative thoughts. Simply put, it makes you much more aware of yourself and your surroundings. And during the trip it is impossible to ignore these thoughts and feelings. Me, I get happy and giddy on hallucinogens because I'm a generally happy and giddy person. But some people naturally just act and react negatively towards life and having those thoughts on a powerful psychoactive chemical can bring about feelings of paranoia, fear, anger, depression... etc.
P.S.
tonalc1:
There is very much so still LSD in the world. I took it just last late summer, it was very good. The reason it's not in great supply is because the DEA recently (2002-2003?) shut down the two largest manufactures of it in the US.
And yes some shady types would sell you PCP or Meth claiming it to be acid, but even those drugs wouldn't cause someone to just spontaneously freak out without a trigger.
cuetee220:
LSD is just as natural as mushrooms and shares many chemical elements with psilocybin, the psychoactive chemical in mushies that get you high. LSD forms naturally in ergot, a mold that grows on rye.

LSD is a phenomenon not fully understood. It seems to bring the mind into the realm of the schizophrenic psychologically. How it works is not known, but I can tell you from personal experience talking people down from bad trips in the late 60s and early 70's it is no fun. I never did it myself, particularly after seeing what a bad trip can be. I also remember that some took it and never came off their bad trip. Flashbacks were common, and in very rare cases the state remained more or less permanent. The neurochemical nature of schizophrenia is a mystery too, but excess seritonin and dopamine are thought to be part of the mechanism that brings these mental health diseases to the surface in those unfortunate individuals who have the genetics and the environment to trigger such problems in their lives. These diseases are so disruptive, that I have never been able to figure why someone would tempt fate and experiment with such mind altering potential. I personally prefer to just contemplate the incredible Universe we have been born into, and its potential with me in it.

Cause they 'scare' themselves into a bad trip by constantly worring that they are going to have a bad trip, or maybe they just did too too much. Never eat brown acid it should always be clear to light blue Always use the buddy system or go natrual with shrooms

Could be bad acid (nothing these days is actually LSD), a higher dose than expected, or something chemically going on in your body.

if you cant handle your pot and you obviously ramble and are super indecisive, you should stay away from mind altering drugs. you will have a horrible time. also, stop giving advice to others about said drugs when you've never taken them yourself!
