Worm? Silk is silk. There are prettier and more delicate silks made for ties than some other garments. Synthetic silk is not silk.
Silk is unwound cocoon fibers. It is NOT worms. Go back to 3rd grade science class.

real silk is made from worms (technically cocoons). Synthetic silk will be labled "acetate", "polyester" or some other chemical fabric.

The cheap ones are made of recycled worm. You can tell because the knots always look squirmy.
