I have a friend who is 18 and wants to move out but says that her parents have the ability to pull her back into there custody to where she can't leave. Is that really possible. Please site a case if you can this is real important to me.

Not unless they've got a court ordered guardianship over her and those typically come with mental health cases. At 18 you're parent's have no legal authority to keep them in their home, although, at 18 it's wise not to alienate yourself from your parents.

At the age of 18, girls are allowed to be on their own. In Indiana, Lived here just about all my life, Good Luck to your friend.
