these two women has made my life miserable....well i was above average in academics but cud't make good carreer for myself....then i got married and have one sis-n-law and one brother-in-law(both schizophrenic)....and my mother-in-law is extremely interfering....and always humiliating me...i was tolerating this.....but now she wants to care of her schizophrenic married daughter...my husband understand the situation but dont want to leave her mother....my peace of mind is gone....infact i have 2 young kids.....for whom i fear she might make harm to them....as ishe is kind of jealous to me and my kids.....please help.

Your first priority is to the protection of your two young children. This situation sounds dangerous to adults, so the children do not have a chance. I think you need to get away from your mother in law and your sister in law. Just their problems alone is not good for you, your husband, or your children. That is before you factor in the jealousy. You all need to get as far away from them as you can. If your husband will not leave take your children and go. Safety first.

Do what you can to seperate yourself and your wife, from this situation. Nothing like miles of space to solve issues like this. I too have an interfering mother-in-law of which takes everthing I have not to choke the life out of her sometimes, but living with her nor killing her will solve the problem. Get your space however you can. When she comes to your house, tell her to check her mouth at the door and that comments won't be tolerated.

The best way to deal with it as you say
Is leave NOW with your kids
They do not and you do not need to live in an environment like that
and if your hubby wont go - leave him behind with them

sounds to me you need to get your two kids and get out NOW
leave your husband behind if he doesnt want to go with you
your kids do not need to be in that environment and having a controlling freak of a mother in law
my advice is GET OUT NOW

I have to agree with clcalifornia you made the CHOICE to marry into that family, why did you? Your husband isn't doing anything to help you or for his children...WHY Do you stay?

iNSIST THAT FROM NOW ON THERE WILL BE "VISITING" DAYS. nO JUST CALLING ALL THE TIME, OR COMING OVER WHEN THEY FEEL LIKE IT.
YOU NEED TO STAND UP TO YOUR MOM IN LAW AND TELL HER YOU DON'T LIKE THE THINGS SHE IS DOING.
TELL HUBBY IT'S YOUR RULES AND THEIR STICKING TO THEM!!
