One of my favorite books...just wondering if anyone felt the same.

Sure. I've read alot of J. Irving. One of his best I think. What good taste you have! My personal fav is Cider House Rules, but yours is right next to it, in HARDBACK!

Lol, I hated that book. It's a good friend's favorite; he bought me a copy and I felt awful because I just loathed every word on every page. Personally? If the first chapter didn't grab you, the rest probably won't. So I'm going to say no. I think it's worth a read, because it is a somewhat famous book and it's always a good idea to read widely. I'm glad I read it, even though I hated it. You might feel differently, who knows?
