hi gilles! you have a couple options here:
1. remove the music from itunes, and then resync ur ipod. this should remove the music from ur ipod as well.
2. if not, or if u want to keep the music in itunes and *just* delete from ur ipod, do this:
- make sure u have the "manage music and videos manually" option selected (when u plug ur ipod into ur computer, itunes will display a screen - on the Summary tab of this screen, check the box next to "manage music and videos manually").
- then, on the left side of itunes where ur ipod shows up in the list, click the arrow just to the left of ur ipod name. the arrow will turn into a "down arrow" and display a list beneath ur ipod. click the "Music" item in this list and the music on ur ipod will be displayed in the right side of the itunes window.
- now just select the songs (from the right side of the itunes window) you want to delete, then right-click on the selected songs and click 'delete' from the menu.
once u get ur music organized, please subscribe to my FREE video podcast on iTunes: http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=183309259
good luck!

Make sure your Ipod is connected to your computer that you sync(update) your ipod on. Open Itunes. On the left hand column, you see the category "Music" under library. Find the song you want to delete and right click it and then click delete. After you're done deleting all the songs you want, sync your ipod again and the song should be deleted off your ipod.

when you're already in itunes, click on the ipod icon on the left side that would show all your list of songs, then chose your song, right click on then choose clear. that would solve your problem.
