what will be the skin colour of a child born of a black woman and a white man? What is the percentage to be more white or darker. Is there any useful link that I can find more information of this topic?

There is no way in the world you can tell what your child is going to look like until it comes. I have seen mixed kids look extremely pale as if they were all white, and I have seen some mixed kids look as if they were all black with no white in them at all, like my cousin for instance. It really depends on how strong each parent's genes are. I say overall, your child will have a tan, brown tone, dark curly hair and probably dark eyes, since darker skin color is more of the dominant trait.

Most blacks in America are part white somewhere down the line. A child could easily inherit all the recessive traits & a sibling could inherit all the dominant traits.

There is Indian (native American) blood in my family but I don't think I inherited a drop of it. My father could pass for Mexican. My oldest brother look a lot like Tony Orlando ("Tie a Yellow Ribbon")
My Mom had rudy skin, brown hair & brownish eyes. I am blonde, with blue eyes & very fair complected.

The child would be Mulatto. As for the percentage to be lighter or darker, it would depend on the ancestry. I have seen children born of a mixed relationship that have been very dark, and others that are white. You won't know until the child is born.

Does the black woman have predominant afro-ethnic features? or does she have mixed afro-euro features (lighter skin, less prominant facial structures, etc). And what kind of white man is the father? These days it's so difficult to find anyone of pure ethnicity.

There's also the chance of recessive traits and dominant traits. Those have the chance of popping up too.

I've seen em white and I've seen em black but one thing I know is they'll wish they were one or the other kids can be very cruel to those kids, I know my nephew is one

the childs coloring will vary depending on the unique genetic make-up of its DNA. Why worry?
