These are some of my favorite really high-energy get-pumped songs

Great Balls of Fire- Jerry Lee Lewis
Na na na na na- Kaiser Chiefs
Wart hog- The Ramones (makes you kind of mad too)
School's out- Alice Cooper
I Get Around- The Beach Boys
Rapture- Blondie
Subterreanean Homesick Blues- Bob Dylan
Short Skirt/Long Jacket- Cake
Johnny B Goode- Chuck Berry
Fortunate Son- CCR
Layla- Derek and the Dominoes
July, July!- The Decemberists
Matchbox- The Kooks
Holland, 1945- Neutral Milk Hotel
Paridise City- Gn'R

Yeah... I have weird taste, but there should be SOMETHING you like in that lot.

Prince is good to get you pumping
So are Little Feet.. Talking heads...

I find good big band stuff ... The Travelling Willbury's... Some of the African music by Deep Forest, oh the Afro Celts are serious for getting up up and moving..

African music is just delightful. Annie Lennox. Detroit Motown. I have some great mixed cd's of blues with swing. I like mixed cds. My daughter just gave me one that is all over the musical map.

Hotel california Eagles, Hurrican Dylan, 500 Miles Proclaimers, I am a Rock Paul Simon, I Can't Dance Genisis, I Can See Clearly Now Otis Redding, I go Blind 54-40, I need You Tonight INXS, I Turn my Camera on Spoon, I will Follow YOu deathCab for Cutie, Venice is SInking Spirit of the West, Iris GooGooDolls, Keep On Rockin In The Free World Neil YOung, Last Dance Tom Petty, Live in the FastLane Eagles, Litle Lies Fleetwood mac, Living for the City Stevie Wonder, Me and Julio Paul Simon.

This is an awesome mix! All good sing alongs too. Both my girls make me wonderful cds like this.

Well, I'm a Goth, and what really gets me going in the morning is a good dose of KMFDM and Contagion.

KMFDM: Attak album
Contagion: Scratch Album
