As a child my family used heating blankets on the beds during the winter - and they were soooo warm and comfortable. I don't know why, but I don't use one these days, but was wondering if anyone does? Just curious.

Heated mattress pad. It has seperate controls for each side of the bed. Usually turn it off when I go to bed, makes the bed nice and toasty during the winter months.

Yes, as a matter of fact I just packed it away until next winter. I was brought up on the blankets too. My dog also loves when I use it. He sleeps under the blanket and cuddles up next to me. My husband too.

Yes I do.........I just bought a new one from JcPenney's and it was $150 dollars but well worth it. It has a preheat button on it and when I get in bed, it is already warm and then I shut it off and stay comfy all night with my down comforter. My kids use one too!! They're great!

No. I think with more energy efficient heating, and smaller homes, it's just not required anymore. As warm as those blankets sound, it would be a pain in the butt when it's time to wake up the next morning.

I use one, just to warm up the bed before I get in.
