1. do your eyes BEFORE any foundation or coerup

2. cover the upper lid in a cream (or your skin tone) color for stability

3. go over that with a dark brown, extend down around the lower lid VERY lightly- overdoing this step will give you raccoon eyes!

4. outline your entire eye with a black eye pencil, also try to do the inside of your eye lids for a more dramatic effect

5. take a small brush and fade the bottom lid (the brown) down towards your cheeks in very short clean strokes. the key here is to feather the brown towards your ears

6. apply a thick coat of mascara

7. try try try not to overdo it and be obsessive about smudging, the messier it is the more sexy and bedroom eye effect you will gain

are you looking for the sexy bedroom eyes smokey kind of look?

the trick is not black eyeshadow. it is brown shadow. like your eyes with dark brown liner. then line on top of that with dark brown shadow bring that up into your crease (whole lid). then use a medium shimmer tone to go from your crease up about one shaowbrush stroke. not too far up, just enough to blend, and make a smooth transition to the light shadow. then you take a light shimmer and brush it under your brow bone. make sure you line the underneath of your eyes, and brush the dark shadow along that as well to soften the look. then use a little of the lightest color in the corner of your eye.

black mascara, black eyeliner, and black eyeshadow.
apply the eyeshadow to your lids and to your brow bone.
go darker (meaning, apply more) to your outer corners.

and there you have it :-)
