People in England like Heather Mills. The MEDIA don't like her, and she gets a bad press, being labelled a gold digger. We don't like people who only marry for money, but if she had, she wouldn't have stayed married for so long, would she? Personally I admire her guts and determination, (the press call it pushy and stubborn), and the way she has coped with her disability and hounding by the newspapers. We also love Paul McCartney so much we don't want to believe he would hit her, as she claims.
It's nothing new. Sarah Ferguson (the girl who married Prince Andrew) was harassed in the same way and considered residing permanently in the US, and David Beckham, who had to endure people booing him running onto the pitch when the press blamed him for all England's woes. Now he's one of our greatest heroes. Fickle lot, aren't we? And lets not forget how the press bitched about Diana until the day she died.

Because they see her as a gold digger. The press is the one who stirring this up. There are those on the McCartney camp and other on Mills camp. She did release to the press about Paul beating her etc. Well if this is true the late Linda McCartney would have left Paul years ago. I think she doing this to get a better settlement she was offered over £50 million pound. But she wanted more.

She quite obviously plotted to take McCartney for as much as she could. She didnt deserve to get a £27 million divorce payout. She contributed nothing to her very short marriage. It was all just fake with the ultimate objective get divorced and get money. I dont like people who use their child and priviledged information to blackmail their partners to get money that isnt theirs. Yes she is hated and I think she is one of the very few that will ever be able to turn her popularity around with the Brits. Saying that, I dont disbelieve some of the behaviour she had to contend with with McCartney, but if she had any morals, she should have walked away with what was needed - along with the respect of the british people. Instead she has turned her divorce into one big money grabbing expedition and used the child to get it.

Because she's a gold digging manipulating woman who makes a habit out of changing her personallity to get in with rich men and then leave them with as much cash as possible but she made the mistake of picking one of England's most(if not the) popular and famous men to try it on with and then makes a fuss about wanting no press interest in her divorce case from him and then goes on American TV to talk about it.
But luckilly Not having a pre-nuptial agreement does not necessarily spell financial ruin for Sir Paul MacCartney or mean an excessive pay-off for Heather Mills, say legal experts.
According to national law firm, Rowe Cohen, due to the circumstances of the MacCartney/Mills marriage and how Sir Paul MacCartney earned the vast majority of his fortune, a pre-nuptial agreement would make little difference to any divorce settlement.
Stuart Sutton, family law expert at Rowe Cohen, explains: "Heather Mills is highly unlikely to be awarded 50% of Sir Paul MacCartney's fortune and could more realistically expect to be awarded between 5% - 10%. The 1973 Matrimonial Causes Act covers aspects such as length of marriage, extraordinary circumstances including an individual's high wealth or ownership of assets prior to the marriage and birth of children.
"Sir Paul MacCartney was married to Heather Mills for a relatively short period (less than four years), generated the majority of his £825 million fortune before they entered into the marriage and their child, Beatrice, was born during their union. Should their separation lead to divorce, these factors will be taken into consideration by a judge and would probably result in a similar settlement to that of a mutually binding pre-nuptial agreement.

She is a nasty piece of work...a manipulative media whore who is obsessed with climbing the social ladder and she does this mainly by dating/shagging rich old blokes and dumping them when someone better comes along. She is also addicted to lieing it would seem, reinventing her past in a bid to get sympathy and as for her turning into the..suppossed..new Linda McCartney, all animal loving and anti-fur, well did that fool anyone???? did anyone think it was anything more than a pitiful way to curry favor with Paul?
She makes me want to throw up, all those photos of her wearing fur which emerged recently, strange how she kept that quiet, didnt want folks to know she once LOVED wearing fur, why not just say she used to wear it and has changed her mind. No, she just prefers to constantly pretend things didnt happen, such as the porn she did before meeting Macca. Im just glad he saw her for what she was and dumped her...hes well rid of her. Now she is aware of how much the British dislike her she is trying to become a big name in the USA, why you yanks let her on that celeb dancing show is beyond me, send her back to obscurity instead! Macca has kept his dignity throughout the whole sordid divorce, she and her lawyers have tried to manipulate the media and leaked intimate details.
Why dont the Brits like Mills? the same reason ANYONE dislikes ANYONE, because we've found out she is a lieing, 2-faced, manipulative, nasty woman. I hope the Americans send her on her way as well, back to her street walking, gutter dwelling past. Even the police here are sick of her, theyve been scalding her for wasting their time, ringing them up all the time for assistance....

Am also from the US where we Yanks are just as quick to condemn one celebrity for taking unfair advantage of another celebrity. I seem to get along with the UK ppl better than I do my own countrymen at times, and when someone like Paul McCartney, a long-standing icon is obviously being "played" by an "obnoxiqueen" like Mills, I find myself in agreement with English vox populi. However, neither I nor the Brits really "hate" Ms. Mills, they just give a thumbs down to gold-diggers like we do. The press on both sides of the pond peddle more papers by using "hate" when their sources have expressed nothing more than "lack of respect." No doubt there is a percentage of jealous input from folks whom wish they had the opportunity to land the talented musician as they feel they should have been so lucky and they would not have treated him so shabbily.

Her only claim to fame is Paul and since her true money grubbing personality came out she has proven herself to be everything England claimed her to be.The Beatles are about the only thing England has to be proud of and if anyone messes with their native hero's then look out. She comes to America now to try and become someone here. The U.S. can have her because Canada doesn't need a bi+ch like her.And I don't think the US of A will tolerate her for long as they hate her type as well.

Not just England Scotland, Wales and Ireland.
Most people here had her summed up as a money grabbing
witch who would stoop to anything to make a buck. Anyone who saw her cringe worthy interviews with Richard and Judy before she was involved with Macca would agree.
It just goes to show that Macca may have been the most talented songwriter in history but his judgement of character leaves a lot to be desired.
I think most people in Britain feel a bit sorry that Macca was targeted by her.

likely. i don't believe of SHE is undertaking their divorce in a public way even if, enable's settle for it, in spite of they did replaced into in the prevalent public eye, it really is in simple terms the way it really is once you're as commonly used a Paul McCartney like it or no longer. Who is regularly occurring with of what is going on behind closed doors even if the couple are commonly used or no longer? it really is in person-friendly words the sensationalist media concentration which hypes this stuff up right into a frenzy. And why? Coz' the punters lap up the showbiz gossip and for therefore long as they do, those public figures can could post with the intrusions into their lives. they ought to take the strong with the undesirable - have everybody locate out about their deepest lives = undesirable, have 35million kilos of their economic corporation account = strong!

Yoko Ono : John Lennon :: Heather Mills : Paul McCartney
A lot of it has to do with the English public seeing her as trying to replace Linda McCartney, who was loved in England. The other reason is that she's a gold digger, trying to extract everything that she could from Paul McCartney.
Did her leg fly out on Dancing with the Stars?
