Don't blame you being obese on video games. Do you have a job cause you should. It sounds like your lazy. I've played video games all the time and I'm 24. Get a new hobbie. I find it hard to believe you play 24/7. Go running in the morning or something and get off your a-s-s.

Start running and do home exercises or titen your muscles when you sit down. That will wear you out so you can get some sleep. Do any physical workouts to get tired. If that won't work, take the ultimate sacrifice by selling your video games. I've gotten through this, it's hard but worth it. Drink more water too. Or you can tell your friends or parents to keep your video games away until the condition gets better. Good luck.

Okay, what I do, is I have many other things to do. I go to Karate to lose weight and I do voice lessons for fun. You need to find ways to explore the world. I have the same problem, and it's hard, but you to push yourself outside of the house to beat it. Also, if this doesn't help at all, there are groups now developing which help which addiction to video games. I would bet that would be a good thing for you to go.

Just try to stop. I know it's easier said than done, but try doing something else, like reading a book. I know that won't help with exercise, but if it's late at night, and you need something to do, read.

If you're worried about getting overweight, then try exercising more and eating better. And if you do that, I'm guessing you're at that age (yes, I know, I sound VERY after-school special) where your body will start to flip out and you might just have a slow metabolism or something.

But I'm not a doctor, so I don't know. If you're really worried about it, talk to your parent(s) and ask to see a therapist. Or, talk to your doctor and see what he (or she) recommends.

I hope this helps. Good luck.

If you're worried about obesity, maybe try the "Wii Sports Workout." Ha. Or, put a timer on video games. Stand up when you play maybe. You don't need to stop, just limit it.

I find video games are addictive thing. I would but it up there with drinking and gambling. To stop or even cut down you have a: throw/sell the machine. b: go out and do things outside of your four walls. The obese bit is worrying you should definitely look at your diet and cut down on fats and carbs. Then go out and do regular exercise.

I think you need to start new activities that you like instead to get your mind off of video games. Why not join a sport that you like? Try setting limits on how long you can play a day etc.

i understand u, i have the same problem i stay way too late playing Kingdom Hearts lol......well, the only thing i can say to u...is to try something new, that doesnt mean that u stop playing completely, just to try and do something else, again this doesnt mean to stop playing completely just to play less.

P.S. this is what i do when i feel like you, it migth work for u, pick ONE hour during the day to play, it can be at anytime but just ONE hour, that way youll play less and you will be able to do more stuff during ther remaining of the day..................go KINGDOM HEARTS!!! LOL
