Firemen continue to speak out against him, but the media has us believe that he is so well liked because of his so called leadership on 9/11. This could not be further from the truth but in a psycholgical sense perception is reality.

WASHINGTON - One of the nation's largest firefighters' unions has accused Republican presidential contender Rudy Giuliani, the former New York City mayor, of committing "egregious acts" against firefighters who died in the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.
The International Association of Fire Fighters, in a draft letter, excoriated Giuliani for his November 2001 decision to cut back the number of firefighters searching the rubble of Ground Zero for the remains of some 300 fallen comrades.
The 280,000-member union accused him of expediting the clean-up process with a "scoop-and-dump" operation after the recovery of millions of dollars in gold, silver and other assets from the Bank of Nova Scotia that had been buried.

Reason, he marched in the gay parades.
He marched with the pro-choice crowd.
He dressed in drag.
Giuliani, will not win in 08.

He is a great man. Like us ALL, WE all have faults. Are you liked by everyone for everything?
Be smart. Think....he didn't get on a soapbox like Bush...he was the Mayor and loves New York. It showed that day. That day he was like the rest of us....scared and pissed off.

WHy does everything or one think NYPD or NYFD are heros for doing the jobs they choose & for doing what their suppose to do. 400 died tragicly doing great things but there's 2600 other people who died also yet hard held to a slightly lower level. Police & firefighters are prove dont get me wrong but were just doing their jobs. It's not like the guy who pulls over to change an old woman's flat tire or rescue her cat from the tree because that's its what reminds her of her late husband. When we are scared we look somewhere & he stepped up like children & nightmares turn to their parents we turned to him & even Bush..... because they took charge & never looked back & we needed that.
