Okay so, I usually wear dark eyeliner and mascara, but it really doesn't look very good during the early morning/noontime. I'm also really self-conscious though, and I'm scared of looking too young (I'm 16). I guess I kinda hide behind my eyeliner, but it doesn't exactly make me look better. So can someone give me some make-up tips on how to look more natural, but not look like I'm 13 years old?

Yeah that's me.
You can't tell but my eyes are blue/green.
So yeah.

if your a fun person wear bright eyeshadow but in a cool rock way not little girl trying on moms makeup way. Also use blush and highlighter on your cheekbones it will bring them out in a more grown up way. Try a little eyeliner only on the top and some bright eyeshadow for fun.

When I want to go for the natural (a look thats better for the day time) I like to use a nice neutral shade with a light shimmer. I save my black eyeliner for when I go out at night. I also use a brown eyeliner pencil. (Doir is my favorite b/c it is a nice soft pencil and has a smudging tool on the other end.) Since it is a softer pencil I can smudge a thin line into my lashes. I only go about half way across the outside of the upper eyelid and I leave the bottom plain. You also seem to have dark eyelashes so I think it is best just to apply mascara to the top eyelashes

If you still need help I would recommend that you go to a department store (if you have one close enough) that has make-up counters like Estee Lauder or Clinique. The ladies there can give you a free consultation(If they have that where you live) and show you how to apply the make-up. They may try to convince you to buy but it is not necessary.
Good Luck!

A) Loose the bottom lid liner... that will get you every time. No matter what you do it will always smudge a little. If you have under eye circles go for the yellow concealer @ any drug store and top with loose powder to set.
B) If you had brown eyes I would tell you black liner but, hazel and blue/green should defiantly go brown. Again with the smudge factor. I would go for liquid, it does take a little longer to apply ( and a little tiny bit of practice too) but the results will amaze you. If you do go liquid stay away from the felt tip brushes. Try one with a wand...(Rimmel makes really good liquid liner and it's not too expensive so it makes for a good trial) I would tone down the amount too. My makeup consultant always tells me " it's liner so, line...don't try to redraw the shape of your eye." Since you are toning down on the liner color I would stay stick with the black mascara...and voila'! You have pretty eyes anyway... just have fun!

I would use some foundation and some brown eyeshadow with a natural color blush and lip gloss with the eyeliner and you should be good to go or if you don't want a lot of make up then use eyeshadow and eyeliner with lip gloss hope this help you a little. Good luck

lol i was wearing makeup at your age too and never had a site like this to ask for help....but at your age, you should look maturely natural in makeup, so go for browns and coca shades cause black is too much for you and for daytime makeup period. use dark brown mascara and medium brown/dark brown eyeliner. or shoot for deep purples to kick it up a notch, but still look good. if you were black just line the upper lids and topping it off with mascara. lol one more. don't fully line your bottom lids. stop mid way and add a shimmery shadow the rest of the way (inner corners of your eyes and right where you stopped lining) to give your eyes a glowing effect. hope this helps!

I think you look great! But for a softer daytime look, you could try using brown liner or even just brown shadow smudged into the top lash line with some brown mascara. Black can be a bit harsh sometimes. Also, only line and mascara top lashes (leave bottom lashes bare) for a fresher look. Good luck!
