First, unless you are talking about dancing, I'd make sure you spelled it "sole" custody on any court papers. There are about a million websites, depending on which parent you are...or you can contact your local friend of the court. You need a good reason, such as the other parent is incapable, or a danger to the child, etc.... just google it, but be selective on your choice of information, and don't beleive stuff from personal websites, go for the offical ones.

Do you want custody of someone's soul or do you want to be the only parent who has custody which would be sole

If you want sole custody try a lawyer but you can not own someone's soul.
