I have a HP Pavillion dv2000 with 1gb ram and Turion64 x2. Sometimes it runs ok and other times it gets super laggy no matter what settings or effects i have in-game. I know its not the best laptop but is there any way that i can improve WOW.

Well World of Warcraft has run great on both my mac mini wich only has 1.25Ghz processor and a 32mb video card, as well as my laptop which is a single Turion 64 with 128mb of shared video memory. So I am betting there is nothing wrong with your hardware.

Check your lag in the game is it high? If it is try switching to a different server. What kind of connection do you use, I assume DSL or Cable correct? Don't even try on a dialup!

How high are your video settings? I have mine set on medium and at 1024 x 768 resolution.

Spyware can cause any computer to a halt so watch out! Get a spyware sweeper. Spyware is the worst, viruses are usally easier to detect and get rid of in my experience. Whenever my laptop slows down I run a spyware sweep and sure enough that is what is causing the poor performance. After I delete all the spyware my laptop is back to normal.

Improve your RAM, kill unnecessary background processes and programs, check out your network, it might be your realm. Turn down graphics, get a virus check, or a spy/adware check, you might be infected. Maybe get a new graphics card?

It works pretty well for me, but I have 1.5GB RAM, a 9800 radeon pro graphics card, and some other stuff. Hope I could help.

attempt right click on job bar at backside of demonstrate screen, click on job supervisor, end any courses you're no longer utilising that are working in decrease back floor. Allot as plenty ram as you could to WoW and notice if this enables. you could ought to install extra Ram/reminiscence. desire this enables

It's your graphics chip. Since it's a laptop, there's nothing you can do.
