I live near Canada... I have an intense phobia of walking on ice. All my buddies go out ice fishing and I can't. I can see that the ice is at least three to six feet thick...trucks drive on it, there's fish houses out there, everyone goes out... and I cannot bring myself to step out onto the ice without a panic attack...

Oddly enough... I rock climb, scuba dive, ATV, water ski, motorcycle... I even ice skate at the arena... just no frozen lakes or rivers for me. I have *never* once stepped onto the ice. But I'll do just about anything else.

Well I have an intense hatred for anyone who messes with little kids.

Also my grandma is terrified of water, her brothers use to hold her head underwater, so she never learned to swim, and is afraid to this day.
