Supplementing balkrishna C answer above, you need to have good knowledge of General Management and its practices and various labour laws and rules made thereunder applicable to your jurisdiction - including Factories Act, Workmen's Compensation Act, Trade Unions Act, Industrial Disputes Act, Provident Fund Act ....besides some working knowledge on Contract Act as well.
