India's primary resources are coal (fourth-largest reserves in the world), iron ore, manganese, mica, bauxite, titanium ore, chromite, natural gas, diamonds, petroleum and limestone. This info was found in the CIA World Factbook.

Mica is a pretty far down on the list as far as most valuable resources, iron and coal are extremely important to India's economy and bauxite is also economically important. Mica is used in electronics manufacturing as an insulating material.
