Mr. DW! Long time. I believe lowering standards make you less of a person. That being said, you should never look down on someone, because no one is perfect.

Actually i never have and never will. I mean you are who you are, why should you lower your standards for anyone. I mean sometimes you gotta lower your expectations, but never your standards. You have to stand for what you believe in.

when i've been working on an assignment for more than 6 hours, unhappy with its quality. i'll lower my standards of perfection and give up.

I used to when I was bored or lonely. When I decided it wasn't worth it, I found someone for whom I didn't have to lower my standards....
