Our theme is Diamonds are forever. I want a wow dress but cant seem to think of anything. got any ideas?

i would wear a long fancy looking black or red dress, with a lot of jewelry...give it kinda a marilyn monroe feel to it..

First of all, you should go shopping around. Even if you don't find THE dress, looking at other dresses will help give you an idea of what you want.
Try places like Dillard's and J.C. Penney's. They usually have some pretty dresses, and some of them are quite stunning without the stunning prices. If you still have no success, try a prom dress specialty store. They'll have racks and racks of gowns for you to look at.
And keep in mind, you want "Wow!", not "Whoa..." So don't go overboard on the colors/glitter. And no matter what, pick something you FEEL beautiful in. You'll be confident, and you'll look your best.

I think to get a fab dress that is affordable for mom and dad to actually buy you would be a silver sequence dress that is kinda flapper girl style that would be way cute....if you cant find something like that then go for silver sparkly of some kind make sure to have dramatic make up too!! smokey charcoal eyes would look amazing with the whole theme good luck....oh wait hot pink would look way hollywood too!!! yeah I think I would go with the hot pink thing!!

try with Lord and Taylor, and Macy's. i think they have a lot of pretty dresses. Or, you can buy a few great prom magazines, they always have those in stock just in time for prom... and pick out some styles that you'd like to wear, and then look them up on the internet or buy them from catalogs if you really can't find your WOW dress.

red dress with diamond look a like sequins.put your hair up.a red ribbon hanging down is sexy.diamond zircon dangled earrings,red heels and a diamond zircon ankle bracelet.3 diamond zircon rings.one on the middle finger.A tiered dress is hot right now.the guys are going to need paramedics because they will go insane.you will be the fox of the foxes.Go get um girl

Go to this site to see the dress's skirt and have the dress's skirt look like that...with spaghetti straps. Then, add fishnet to the straps that way they make hugging sleeves. On these fishnets, add little rhinestones. Also, put glitter on your face and/or glitter in your hair. Wear lots of jewelry (preferably stuff that sparkles in lights) [with gems?].
